Little Adventurers
A Tuesday Adventure for Kids Ages 4–7
A fun-filled morning and afternoon program designed just for children ages 4–7. Each Tuesday offers engaging, age-appropriate activities that inspire curiosity, creativity, and a love of the outdoors.
Program Highlights
Each session is centered around hands-on exploration and discovery in nature. Children will enjoy interactive story time, nature-inspired crafts, gentle hikes, and simple science activities—all designed to spark imagination and encourage outdoor learning.
A snack is included with each session.
Programming places a special focus on the outdoors and the native plants and animals of West Virginia, helping children connect with and better understand the natural world around them.
Every experience is designed to build confidence, encourage curiosity, and leave children excited to share what they’ve discovered.
Activities May Include
- Outdoor exploration focused on West Virginia’s native plants, wildlife, and seasonal changes
- Creek walks, nature scavenger hunts, and hands-on science experiments in natural settings
- Nature-inspired crafts using natural or found materials
- Circle Time featuring interactive stories, show-and-tell, and fun facts about local flora and fauna
- Group discussions that encourage observation, questions, and discovery
Age Requirement
- Children must be 4 years old by the day of attendance
- All participants must be toilet-trained and able to use the restroom independently

Dress Code
Most activities take place outdoors. Please dress children appropriately for the weather and outdoor play.
Use of sunscreen and insect repellent is highly recommended.

Pre-registration is required at least 24 hours in advance. We encourage booking as early as possible, as space is limited.
Cancellation Policy
As a courtesy to other members, guests, and our guides, cancellations must be made by 4:00 PM the day before to avoid a cancellation fee equal to the full price of the activity.
Check-In Procedures
Parents or guardians must complete any required forms or waivers as directed to ensure all information is current for each child’s safety and participation.
A parent or guardian must sign children in at drop-off.
