Young Explorers

The Young Explorers Program, based out of the Hunt Cabin, is a fun filled camp for kids ages 6 - 12. They spend their days exploring all the great activities that The Greenbrier Sporting Club has to offer. While they are out and about our expert staff supervises and leads them through each activity. Kids learn how to have fun and be safe in the outdoors.

The program is offered in a one week rotating schedule of activities, starting on Tuesday and continuing to Saturday. There are no scheduled activities on Sunday or Monday. Lunch is served each day of the program and all the meals are kid friendly and come from The GSC kitchen. Because all our lunches are handled by The GSC Chefs, we can easily accommodate your child’s specific dietary needs; just let us know in advance about allergies and dietary restrictions.

Each day is a separate event so you can pick and choose the days your child wants to attend.

Age Requirements

Camp is available to Club Members and their Guests ages 6 -12 years of age

Liability Waiver

The GSC Participant Agreement, Release and Assumption of Risk must be signed by either a Parent or Legal Guardian for each child attending.

Camp is available Tuesday - Saturday

Half days are from 9:00am to 1:00pm
Full days are from 9:00am to 4:00pm

Drop-off and Pick-up is at The Hunt Cabin

Fees (2024)

Camp for half a day is $85 per Child for Standard Activities (Lunch Included)
Camp for a full day is $120 per Child for Standard Activities (Lunch Included)

*There is a 20% service charge, 6.5% HPF and 6% WV sales tax in addition to the cost of the camp.

Cancellation Policy

As a courtesy to other members, guests, and our guides, cancellations must be made by 4:00 pm the day before to avoid a cancellation fee of the full price of the activity.
