The Lodge

The Lodge Dining Room is an exclusive venue, unavailable to the public or hotel guests. Located within the private Members' Clubhouse, it overlooks the 18th Hole on The Snead Course and the scenic Howards Creek. The natural beauty of the Greenbrier Valley is on full display, with a twenty-foot wall of west-facing windows framing the view of the sun setting between White Rock and Greenbrier mountains. The space features a wood beam cathedral ceiling, skylight, custom-forged acorn chandelier, and a two-story stone fireplace, creating an elegant and comfortable atmosphere. Seasonal outdoor dining is available on a covered stone terrace, offering the perfect setting for both intimate dinners and group gatherings after a day of golf or adventure. The Lodge is the ideal destination for members seeking a refined experience of the Sporting Life.

Resort casual - collared sport shirts, sweaters, jackets, dress slacks and walking shorts. Bathing suits are not permissible on the terrace or within The Lodge, caps & hats must be removed when dining.

Lodge Dining Terrace

The Lodge Dining Terrace offers a delightful outdoor dining experience, popular for relaxing after a round of golf. On cool spring or fall evenings, guests can enjoy the warmth of the outdoor fireplace and patio heaters, creating a cozy atmosphere as the soothing sounds of Howards Creek flow nearby. Adjacent to the terrace is the event lawn, an ideal space for private parties, receptions, and special events, making it a versatile venue for both casual dining and elegant gatherings.

Lodge Lounge

The Lodge Lounge provides a welcoming retreat for Sporting Club Members after a day on The Snead Course or a relaxing visit to The Ananda Spa. The fully stocked bar offers a variety of beverages, while the comfortable lounge area is perfect for enjoying lunch or dinner. Members can catch their favorite sports game on the flat-screen television or unwind by the hand-set stone fireplace, ideal for long, cozy conversations. Seating in The Lodge Lounge is available on a first-come, first-served basis, ensuring a relaxed and casual atmosphere for all.

White Rock Room

The White Rock Room, located upstairs at The Lodge, offers a stunning view of the 18th green and captures the breathtaking sunset over White Rock Mountain. This versatile space is perfect for hosting private meetings, luncheons, or dinners. Equipped with a private bar, the room can accommodate up to 75 guests for larger events, while the custom board table can seat 12, making it ideal for smaller, more intimate meetings. The serene setting and sophisticated atmosphere make the White Rock Room a distinguished venue for any occasion.

Event Lawn

The Event Lawn at The Lodge offers a picturesque setting overlooking the 18th Green of The Snead golf course, making it an ideal venue for private parties, receptions, or special events for up to 200 guests. This expansive outdoor space is also used for several annual club events, including the Memorial and July 4th member cook-outs, providing a lively and festive atmosphere for large gatherings. Whether for a celebratory occasion or a special event, the Event Lawn offers a beautiful and versatile backdrop.
